What are the key differences between premium organic and Biodynamic® products vs. traditional organic products?

Ambassador Organics™ products are USDA certified organic, and are sourced from both organic and Biodynamic farms. While both systems believe in healthy soil as a foundation for healthy plant life, there are some key differences. According to the Biodynamic Agricultural Association, at the heart of Biodynamic “is the idea of the farm as a self-contained evolving organism, whose life relies on home produced compost manures and animal feeds, and in which external inputs are kept to a minimum. Season for season such a farm develops its own resilient identity, builds long-term fertility and radiates health and vitality into its surroundings.” Biodynamic employs the most sustainable farming methods.

Ambassador Organics defines "premium organic" to mean those ingredients of the highest quality found anywhere in the world. It also means they are grown on farms that support fair labor practices, equality and the true spirit of organic certification regulations. Organic and Biodynamic complement each other; creating healthy food for human consumption.

What is Ambassador Organics’ triple-bottom-line approach to conducting business?

Triple bottom line accounting is the expansion of the traditional company reporting framework to take into account financial performance as well as environmental and social performance. This progressive business approach is being adopted by companies seeking financial profitability while benefiting their local and global communities and natural resources. Ambassador Organics’ triple-bottom-line approach is a way of conducting business that financially rewards the people who produce premium organic foods while honoring the environment from which the food came. It also respects the connection between the various policy issues that impact the direction our world will take concerning health, food and farm economies.
